Calculators for Creators

Creator Earnings Calculator

Pick the platform, the content type and your audience country. You will see a conservative estimate of what your views or streams could earn.

You are calculating

How much could my views earn?

Pick the platform, the content type and the country where your audience is.

Platform

YouTube format

The format decides the calculation model. A Short can run longer than 1 minute.

Content length

The calculator covers only these three length ranges.

It is the country your viewers or listeners are in, not where you live.

Earnings estimate

Enter how many views you have or expect.

Rough estimate. Real earnings can vary by country, format, eligibility, monetization, audience, platform terms and other factors.

How the calculator works

You pick the platform, the content type and your audience country, and enter how many views or streams you have. The calculator uses a single formula:

Estimate = amount ÷ 1,000 × the country's reference value on that platform.

Example: 500,000 views of a long YouTube video with an audience in Colombia, with a reference value of US$ 1, give an estimate of US$ 500.

None of these platforms publishes an official rate per country. The values are Daily Scroll planning references, chosen on purpose from the low end: we would rather fall short than show an optimistic number.

What about the length of the content

You can choose short content (under 1 minute), medium (2 to 5 minutes) and long (6 to 10 minutes). We don't apply length multipliers because there is no public basis solid enough to do it without making up numbers. Length does change two things:

  • YouTube Shorts and long video: they are two separate models and you choose them with the format, not the length. A Short can run longer than 1 minute and a short video is not always a Short.
  • TikTok: videos under 1 minute are not part of Creator Rewards, so they are not calculated.
  • YouTube long video: monetized videos of 8 minutes or more can have mid-roll ads. The estimate does not add that effect.

On Spotify, length is not asked for: royalties don't depend on it the same way they do on a monetized video.

YouTube Shorts: reference values

Shorts uses a different revenue-sharing system than long videos: revenue is distributed according to the eligible engaged views of each country, not all public views. These values are a Daily Scroll reference benchmark based on real data from a Short owned by the site's owner. They are not an official YouTube rate or a country average, and they are never mixed with long-video values.

YouTube long video: reference values

YouTube doesn't publish an official RPM per country. RPM is what the creator earns per 1,000 views.

Spotify: reference values

Spotify explains that royalties are not calculated with a fixed rate per stream. That is why the result is a royalty estimate, not a payment per stream.

Facebook: reference values

Facebook has no universal value. The figure is only a video monetization reference: it does not mix in Reels, Stars, subscriptions or brand deals. For now there are values for only a few countries.

TikTok: reference values

The estimate covers Creator Rewards only and uses qualified views, which are the ones that meet the program's conditions, not the video's total public views. If your market has no value, we don't show any figure.

Why your real result can differ

  • Eligibility: the account must meet each platform's monetization requirements.
  • Mixed audience: if you are watched from several countries, the real result will be a mix. Pick your main country to get a reference.
  • Topic and time of year: ad rates change with the topic of the content and the time of year.
  • Format: each platform monetizes its short and long formats differently.

The most reliable figure is always the one in your own account dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

Why does YouTube have two formats?

Because Shorts and long videos are monetized with different systems. Each format uses its own benchmark, and the long-video one is never reused for Shorts.

Are these values official?

No. No platform publishes a fixed rate per country. These are conservative Daily Scroll reference values, taken from the low end of public sources that we cite on the page.

Why does my country have no estimate on some platforms?

Because we only show a figure when there is an approved reference value for that country and that platform. If there isn't one, we prefer not to make it up.

Why doesn't TikTok calculate videos under 1 minute?

Because Creator Rewards requires videos of at least 1 minute. Also, the estimate uses qualified views, not total public views.

Why can't I enter my own value per 1,000 views?

Because the calculator is meant for estimating when you don't know your numbers yet. If you already have them in your account dashboard, that data will be more accurate than any reference.

Do the results include taxes?

No. They are gross estimates, before taxes, bank fees and splits with labels or distributors.
